Supporters of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa have begun searching for a new residence in Colombo for him, following the enactment of a new law that stripped former Presidents of their official benefits, a source close to him said.
According to the source, Rajapaksa is seeking a house with sufficient space to facilitate his public engagements.
