An education reform is required to ensure a 13 year continuous education where no student needs to drop out of the school system, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said today.
Making a special statement on the education reforms, he told Parliament that the new education reforms will include reforms to ensure a 13 year continuous education.
The President said if a child is absent from school for three days continuously, a state official must conduct a personal investigation into the absence of the child.
