The talks between the United National Party (UNP) and the Sagami Jana Balawegaya (SJB) aimed at forming a broad right wing alliance is to begin in the evening today, SJB MP Mujibur Rahman said.
MP Rahman who is a member of the committee appointed by the SJB to confer with the UNP told the media that the venue for the talks will be finalized shortly.
“It will be sufficient if the venue is decided even two hours before the talks,” he said.
“Today’s talks will not be decisive as it will be only the first round,” he added.
