CEYPETCO Managing Director, Dr. Mayura Nettikumara says that suppliers have agreed to implement a cost management plan.
Discussions were held with bowser truck owners, where a proposal was made for them to purchase items such as insurance, batteries, and other essential supplies in bulk.
This, he noted, would significantly reduce their overall costs, ultimately benefiting the general public.
An agreement was reached on this approach, and the owners have requested one week to finalize their expenses before a final decision is made.
